This game took place in Bunninnadden on Friday evening. This was the the teams third meeting in 5 weeks with a draw and an one point victory in the previous games all expected a tight tense affair. However that was not to be the case at all.

We got off to a flyer of a start with a very well taken goal from Niall Judge in the first minute. This was followed two minutes later by a goal from Kevin Langan and by the 10th minute we lead 3-1 v 0-0 with another goal this time of the fortunate variety from Judge. Until the half time break we drove forward to lead at the break 3-9 v 0-1. This could have been more but two good saves from the opposition goalie from Pat Naughton and Stevie Kilgallon kept out to very good efforts.

The second half was no different and an exquisite pass from Brian Curley put Niall Judge put him through on goal but he was fouled for a penalty that we put wide. Another excellent piece of individualism by Curley put Judge in for another point. Then subs Kieran Naughton and Frank Barrett scored points from play after good play by Ronan Carrabine. Calry scored a goal before the end from a penalty.

The team eased off and won by 3-19 v 1-2. The team are now in the Benson cup final on Monday afternoon in Dromard at 3:30pm.
