On Friday evening we had Mullinabreena as visitors to Corballa. The conditions were perfect for football.

The visitors got off the mark early and lead early on but we came back to equalise and then took the lead when Ronan Murphy scored a goal. We continued to score points with Seán Carrabine, Luke Munnelly and Odhrán Quinn scoring however as the half came to an end the visitors got through for a goal. This did not put our lads off and we went in at half time leading with a score of 1-9 v 2-3.

We got off to a blistering start in the second half and scored three goals in the opening minutes of the half when Ronan Murphy, Seán Carrabine and Luke Munnelly scored. This put us in the driving seat for the half as we were able to control the half and keep our visitors far enough away. Substitute James Tully did the hard work for Murphys third goal and his final was a tap in as Luke Munnelly shot was parried by the keeper.

This was a good night for the lads and management and was a well deserved victory.
